Southeast Asia’s Key Agriculture Technology Exhibition Set For 26 – 28 September 2024


Malaysia's largest B2B agriculture technology exhibition is set to make a triumphant return, welcoming over 13,000 agriculture professionals from around the world. The highly anticipated 7th edition of the Malaysia International Agriculture Technology Exhibition, Agri Malaysia 2024, will be held from 26 to 28 September 2024 at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC) in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.


Under the theme “Empowering Agriculture Technology”, Agri Malaysia stands as a pinnacle annual agriculture exhibition, serving as the most important B2B sourcing platform facilitating direct interactions with diverse range of exhibitors, providing international buyers with the opportunity to source export-ready products. Agri Malaysia 2024 is set to attract 400 exhibitors and 550 exhibiting booths and 800 exhibiting brands along with decision-makers, potential buyers, and partners from over 18 countries in different regions around the world.

Agri Malaysia stands as a key platform for farmers and growers of various agriculture commodities, fruits, vegetables and horticulture sector. Through showcasing the latest advancements in farming, cultivation, processing, and sustainability practices, Agri Malaysia offers valuable insights and solutions to improve productivity, quality, efficiency for all farmers and growers.


Agri Malaysia 2024 will showcase a range of exciting features, including AgriDemo, where attendees can engage in live demonstrations of the latest cutting-edge technologies from advanced agricultural machineries and drones to smart farming applications, all in action.


AgriTalk will offer a series of free knowledge programs covering diverse topics such as Smart Agriculture, Agricultural Sustainability, Palm Oil, and Durian Farming Cultivation & Techniques. AgriClinic provides a dedicated space for industry professionals to receive personalized guidance on soil and foliar testing and analysis from specialists.

Additionally, the new Smart Farming Zone in Hall B aligns with the Malaysia Digital (MD) AgTech driven by MDEC to digitally empower the national agriculture sector. By integrating digital technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics (BDA), artificial intelligence (AI), and DroneTech, this initiative aims to increase productivity, enhance quality, boost income, reduce operational costs, optimise plantations, and foster further participation.


These collaborative efforts aim to sustain and scale Digital AgTech adoption across the agriculture sector, transforming into a digitally empowered industry. Ultimately, this initiative will boost the nation's Digital Economy, in alignment with the official appointment of MDEC by Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) as the National Strategic Technology Validator and supporting the key objectives of the National Agrofood Policy 2021-2030 (NAP2.0) and the National Council of Digital Economy & 4IR (MED4IRN).
